Hi All,

A friend of mine is considering launching a range of Natural Dog and Cat food here in the UK and is looking for some feedback as to what people are looking for in pet food (cost, benefits, etc).

The products come in a range of different 'flavours' and contain locally sourced meat that is certified for human consumption. A minimum of 65% meat is found in all the products (except for the 'diet menu') and the meat is processed immediately and carefully in order so preserve the vitamins. They contain no animal, corn, plant or wheat meals. No pressed or processed meats, No chemical preservatives or filling materials. No soybean products or chemical colourings and there will be a home delivery service.

Experience from Germany where they have been operating for several years has resulted in feedback from customers citing:

- An improved 'Nice & Shiny' Coat
- Reduced Smell
- Reduced Hairloss
- Improved Agility
- Better Wellbeing
- Improved Healthiness and increased age
- Healthy Puppies & Kittens

Would there be interest in the UK for a distribution network that allowed 'users' to earn money/commissions as well?

I would be grateful for any feedback.

Many Thanks

Jon

It obviously depends on what the product costs, but might this be a possible way for rehoming kennels and catterys to make a little money, by acting as a distribution point. Just a thought....

Cost would be a significant factor, as most kennels buy their food wholesale from distributors as they have so little money - you can find the sites if you google them.
