hey, you could try getting her a few rubber dog toys to chew, with young dogs they will normally chew anything because their teeth can sometimes ache as they develop and chewing relieves this pain. However with older dogs they will chew something if they are anxious or worried, lol this is the same as a human biting their nales when they are nervous. She may be nervous in new her new environment. When she is on the lead pull her back and say leave and when she stops chewing give her a treat or praise her in an excited voice and pet her, she should eventually learn that if she stops chewing something positive will happen, build on this until you can eventually let her off the lead and tell her to leave it. If there are other people at home get them to carry out this training so she learns that she is at the bottom of the pack and must do what she is told. But keep the training short, 15 to 20 mins at the most and do it 2 or 3 times a day so that she does not get bored, the less distractions there are when training the better as it will allow her to focus more on what you are trying to do with her. Hope this helps :)
